About us
We offer unusual accommodation in a historical building of a former windmill in a romantic forest solitude. A stylish interior with a fireplace and antique furniture, in the bedrooms await you comfortable beds and utter silence for your good night sleep. Three bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor of the mill and have one shared bathroom. The fourth bedroom is a log cabin, which is located in the garden about 10 meters from the mill and offers another 2 beds and 2 extra beds with private bathroom.
Accommodation
Our mill accommodates 1 to 10 persons in a total of 4 bedrooms.
Bedrooms and rooms: There are 3 double rooms directly in the mill, in the adjacent log cabin another 2 beds + the possibility of 2 extra beds.
Sanitary facilities: 3 double rooms have a shared bathroom (toilet + shower) on the floor. There is another toilet on the ground floor of the mill. The log cabin has its own bathroom (toilet + shower).
Heating: Fireplace + electric heating.
Transport, parking: Object accessible by car. Parking available on site.
Food preparation
The ground floor of the mill has a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, gas stove, coffee maker, toaster, kettle).
What is available
During your stay you will have all the interior of the mill – on the ground floor fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace, toilet, on the first floor living room with TV, on the second floor three bedrooms with shared bathroom and toilet, on the plot then a log cabin – fourth bedroom with a total of four beds and a private bathroom, garden pavilion, barbecue, fireplace, table tennis, children’s swing and garden shower.
Trips, attractions, entertainment
With accommodation in our mill, which is located on the edge of the Czech Switzerland National Park, you will get an ideal base for trips to the surroundings, either on foot or by bike. You can visit Pravčická brána (Sandstone gate), Elbe canyon, Silent and Wild gorge, Tisá rocks, Dolský water mill or Děčín Sněžník (table mountain) and many other interesting places in the area.
Růžová (Rose village) is a recreational village located below Rose hill, which reaches an altitude of 619 m and thus exceeds its surroundings by almost 300 meters.
In the village there is a baroque church of St. Peter and Paul from 1711 and several half-timbered and timbered houses, on Shepherd´s hill above Růžová you will find a unique futuristic lookout tower “Růženka”.
In the local part of Růžová called Nový Svět (New World), was restored the natural swimming pool – a natural biotope, which you can reach from the mill by a comfortable walk in half an hour.
There is also a golf course in the village Janov (5km).

Year-round operation.
Short stays:
Minimum of 3 nights
Summer season: June 30th till August 31st 2024 (only 6 nights stays, arrival on Sunday and departure on Saturday), total price regardless of the number of persons.
Rental prices are final, including bed linen, towels, you do not pay anything for energy, firewood, local taxes or final cleaning.
The price for a 6 nights stay from June 30th till August 31st 2024 is for 1-10 persons.
Prices in the rest of the year are valid for a maximum of 6 persons, for each additional person the price increases by 30 EUR per night.
The log cabine is only available if more than 6 persons.
Booking deposit 50% at the time of reservation.
Pets are not allowed in the property.
The owners live in a separate building in the garden area.
